Asian-Inspired Slow Cooker Pork Chops recipe

Preparation Time: 30 minutes | Cooking Time: 7 hours

Pork chops are cooked in a deliciously sweet and savoury sauce made from soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger and garlic in this delicious recipe.


  • 6 boneless pork chops
  • 4 tbsp. dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 125ml soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp. hoisin sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • Salt and black pepper


  1. Combine the brown sugar, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, garlic and a good pinch of salt and black pepper.

  2. Put the pork chops into a slow cooker and pour over the sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.

If you like, thicken the sauce with a bit of cornflour and serve over noodles. Recipe serves 6.
