Avocado and Lime Dip recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Sweet, thick, creamy and tangy, this well-flavoured avocado and lime dip is perfect for serving with tortilla chips or for drizzling over your favourite salad. It's easy to make, too!


  • 3 avocados
  • Juice of 2 ripe limes
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt


  1. Slice the avocados in half and remove the stones. Scoop out the flesh and put into a food processor. Add the lime juice, lime zest, garlic clove, hot sauce and sea salt.

  2. Whiz the ingredients together until smooth. Pour out into a serving bowl.

To serve, drizzle with a little extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle with chopped chives. Recipe serves 12.
