Bacon and Cheese Dip recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Creamy, savoury, salty and crunchy, this yummy dip is perfect for parties. Serve with crusty bread, crackers or veggie sticks - or as it is spread on warm toast.


  • 6 rashers smoked bacon
  • 225g cream cheese
  • 150g cheddar cheese, smoked, grated
  • 1/2 small white onion
  • 1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp. freshly chopped parsley


  1. Dry fry the smoked bacon in a deep frying pan until golden brown and crisp. Leave to cool and chop.

  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese until soft. Fold in the cheddar, onion, mustard and bacon. To serve, sprinkle with fresh parsley.

This dip is best served at room temperature, and you can add anything to it - spring onion, red onion, extra cheese, ham. Recipe serves 6.
