Sweet, salty, creamy and crunchy - this are super tasty nibbles that are perfect for parties. Dates are stuffed with goat's cheese and walnuts, wrapped in bacon, then baked until crisp.
- 30 dates, stoned
- 30 walnut halves
- 8 tbsp. soft goat's cheese
- 15 thin rashers streaky bacon, smoked
Preheat oven to 180C. Make a slit in each date and stuff with around 1/2 tsp. of goat's cheese, and 1 walnut. Close the date around the stuffing if possible.
Slice the bacon slices into two long strips each. Wrap each date in bacon slice and secure with a cocktail stick if needed, making sure that the dates are seam down on the baking tray.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is golden and crisp. Serve warm or leave to cool before serving.
