Prawns are baked in a sauce made with butter, garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and parsley in this recipe. You can prepare everything in advance, making it perfect for a dinner party. Serve with warm crusty bread to mop up all the delicious juices.
- 250g butter
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Small handful freshly chopped parsley
- 2 garlic cloves
- Salt and pepper
- 1kg medium prawns, peeled, deveined and cleaned
Preheat the oven to 200C. Mince the garlic cloves.
In a saucepan, combine the butter, mustard, lemon juice, parsley, garlic, salt and pepper. Melt over a medium heat. When the butter has melted, take the pan off the heat.
Spread the prawns out in a baking dish. Cover with the buttery sauce and bake for 10-12 minutes until the prawns turn pink and opaque.
