Banana Milkshake recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

This thick, creamy banana milkshake is a real classic. Top it with a scoop of ice cream and a chocolate flake bar for a vintage treat.


  • 2 bananas
  • 225ml milk
  • 4 tbsp. water
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 8 ice cubes


1. Chop the bananas and whiz in a blender with the milk until smooth. Add the water and sugar and blend until well combined, then pour over the ice to serve.

You could also add a drop of double or single cream if you like to make these milkshakes even creamier. Recipe serves 4.
