Just two ingredients go into this simple party dish - bacon, and prawns! King prawns are wrapped in bacon, then BBQed until crisp on the outside and tender, soft and sweet on the inside. Serve with a zingy dip.
- 20 large king prawns, peeled, deveined
- 10 slices smoked bacon
Slice the bacon slices in half through the middle, to leave you with 20 thin strips of bacon.
Preheat the BBQ to a medium heat. Wrap the prawns in the one thin strip of bacon each and secure with a cocktail stick.
Lightly oil the cooking grate. BBQ the prawns on either side for 1-2 minutes on either side until the bacon is crisp.
