Best Bread Machine Loaf recipe

Bread fresh out of the bread machine - what could be better? This delicious bread machine loaf is really easy to make and tastes fantastic spread with just a little bit of proper salted butter.


  • 400g bread flour
  • 2 tbsp. caster sugar
  • 4 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. quick yeast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 225ml warm water


  1. Place sugar, water and yeast into the bread machine. Let the yeast dissolve and foam for around ten minutes.

  2. Add oil, flour and yeast, then select the Basic or White Bread setting. Press go.

The bread tastes yummy when warm, but it can give you a tummy ache. It'll last for a few days fresh, or you can easily freeze it too. Recipe makes 1 loaf.
