Creamy Blueberry Banana Smoothie recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Blueberries, bananas and milk whiz together in this easy breakfast smoothie sweetened and flavoured with honey and vanilla. For a thicker smoothie, use scoops of vanilla ice cream instead of milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, frozen, chopped
  • 75g blueberries
  • 200ml milk
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

1. Whiz bananas and blueberries together in a blender until smooth and creamy. Add milk, honey and vanilla and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into 2 large glasses to serve.

If you prefer a fruitier smoothie, omit the vanilla and milk and use a mixed berry or orange juice instead. Recipe serves 2.
