These easy peasy, slightly salty, slightly crunchy peanutty squares are quite the classic Brazilian sweet. If you like, drizzle with chocolate before serving.
- 250g roasted, skinless peanuts
- 250g rich tea biscuits
- 1 x 400g tin condensed milk
- 2 tbsp. sugar
Pulse the peanuts and biscuits in a food processor until they resemble fine breadcrumbs.
Add sugar and pulse, then add the condensed milk and pulse until the mixture forms a ball that comes away from the sides of the food processor.
Transfer to a 23cm square tin lined with greaseproof paper. Smooth out and flatten. Leave overnight, then cut into squares.
