Moist, meaty burgers are stuffed with a tangy surprise of salty blue cheese, then grilled to perfection, leaving you with moist burgers with an ooey gooey centre. Serve with soft white rolls.
- 500g minced steak
- 2 tsp. dried thyme
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 small onion
- Salt and pepper
- 6 tbsp. blue cheese
Combine the minced steak, dried thyme, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper and onion in a bowl. Combine with your hands to mix all ingredients.
Divide the meat mixture into 8 equal pieces and flatten into 8 burgers.
Top 4 of the burgers with 1/4 of the blue cheese. Top with another burger and press down with your hands to seal the burger all the way round to stop the cheese falling out.
To cook, fry the burgers on either side for 6-7 minutes until golden and cooked through.
