Crab Nachos recipe

This is a delicious twist on the usual hot nachos meal. Crab combines with mustard and crème fraîche, and is used to top tortilla chips. The dish is then sprinkled with cheese and grilled until bubbly - perfect party food!


  • 250g brown crab meat
  • 500g tortilla chips
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 125g grated gruyere cheese


  1. Combine the crab meat with lime juice, mustard, crème fraîche and Worcestershire sauce. Spread the tortilla chips in an oven-proof serving dish.

  2. Top the tortillas with the crab. Season with salt and pepper then sprinkle with gruyere cheese. Grill until the cheese is bubbling.

You could also combine the crab mixture with some salsa to lighten this dish up a little bit. Recipe serves 2-4.
