This soft, lightly spiced cranberry bread is particularly delicious when served toasted and spread with butter and jam. If you like, you could add some fresh cranberries, too.
- 270ml water
- 5 tbsp. runny honey
- 275g bread flour
- 30g butter
- 150g wholemeal flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. each nutmeg and ground cloves
- 1 dstsp. dried active baking yeast
- 100g dried cranberries
Put water, honey, bread flour, wholemeal flour, butter, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and yeast into the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Sweet Bread cycle and press Start.
Add the cranberries at the fruit/nut signal or just before the end of the last kneading cycle.
