This sweet almond jelly makes a wonderful change to the usual berry or fruit jellies. Milk, water, sugar and almond extract combine and are then set in the fridge. Serve in individual serving glasses or in one serving dish for everyone.
- 500ml boiling water
- 350ml whole milk
- 125g caster sugar
- 1 1/2 x 11.5g powdered unflavoured gelatine sachets
- 2 tsp. almond extract
Whisk the sugar and milk together in a large bowl until the sugar dissolves.
Sprinkle the gelatine into the milk and allow to soften for a couple of minutes. Whisk in the boiling water and almond extract until the gelatine dissolves.
Pour the jelly mixture into the serving dishes of your choice. Leave to set in the fridge.
