Broccoli is tossed with lemon juice, breadcrumbs and butter in this easy yet delicious side dish - a fantastic way to get your veggies in.
- 500g broccoli
- 25g butter
- 50g breadcrumbs
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Heat a pot of salted water until boiling. Drop in the broccoli and simmer until fork tender. If you prefer, you could steam the broccoli for around five minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large frying pan. Add the breadcrumbs and fry for a few minutes or until golden and toasted.
To serve, toss the broccoli with the breadcrumbs and lemon juice.
