This easy marinated prawn dish is perfect for a dinner party starter, as all you need to do is throw the ingredients together, leave them to marinate for a few hours, then quickly griddle until cooked. Prawns are marinated in olive oil, garlic, choves and paprika - easy!
- 1kg fresh king prawns, peeled, deveined
- 75g butter
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. freshly chopped chives
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. sweet paprika
- Salt and pepper
Soften the butter in a large bowl. Add the prawns, oil, chives, garlic, onion, papika, salt and pepper and stir to combine. Cover and leave in the fridge for a couple of hours.
When you're ready to cook, heat a griddle pan over a medium heat. Add the prawns and fry on either side for 1-2 minutes or until pink.
