Ginger and Wasabi Dipping Sauce recipe

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Use some pickled ginger to create this yummy dipping sauce - it's spicy, salty, slightly sweet and slightly tangy all at the same time. Delish!


  • 100ml soy sauce - use light soy sauce if you can
  • 1 tsp. wasabi
  • 2 tbsp. pickled ginger


  1. Finely dice the pickled ginger - dice it as finely as you can. Mix a little of the wasabi with the soy sauce to create a paste, then gradually add the rest of the soy sauce to create a smooth sauce. Taste and add more wasabi if desired.

  2. Stir in the pickled ginger.

You could also add a pinch of ground ginger in place of the pickled ginger if you would prefer a smooth sauce. Recipe serves 32.
