Turkey mince is a fantastic alternative to the more traditional beef mince and can be used in exactly the same way. This recipe combines turkey mince with feta cheese, olives and oregano to create a burger that is Greek in flavour. Serve with a wholemeal bun and some Greek salad.
- 500g turkey mince
- 150g feta cheese
- 100g green olives
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- Black pepper
Put the turkey mince into a bowl and then crumble the feta over it with your fingers.
Slice the olives and add these to the bowl, then season with oregano and black pepper before using your hands to bring the mixture together.
Form the mixture into patties, then fry in a little oil for around five minutes per side until cooked through and no longer pink in the middle.
