Herby Halloumi Skewers recipe

Preparation Time: 2 hours | Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Halloumi is soaked, sliced, then griddled with oregano and extra-virgin olive oil in this delicious recipe. Perfect for veggies and carnivores alike as it is jam packed with flavour.


  • 500g halloumi cheese, soaked in cold water for two hours
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. dried oregano


  1. Slice each block of halloumi into 4 long pieces. Thread onto soaked wooden skewers, drizzle with oil, sprinkle with oregano and season with black pepper.

  2. Griddle for 2-3 minutes on either side.

Serve with a spiky tomato salsa or a rich guacamole. Recipe serves 4.
