Halloumi is soaked, sliced, then griddled with oregano and extra-virgin olive oil in this delicious recipe. Perfect for veggies and carnivores alike as it is jam packed with flavour.
- 500g halloumi cheese, soaked in cold water for two hours
- 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp. dried oregano
Slice each block of halloumi into 4 long pieces. Thread onto soaked wooden skewers, drizzle with oil, sprinkle with oregano and season with black pepper.
Griddle for 2-3 minutes on either side.
