White beans are used to achieve a particularly creamy, rich pate in this recipe - perfect for those wanting to add a little more protein to their diet without adding fat. Use whichever herbs you like.
- 200g smoked salmon
- 200g white beans from a tin, drained and rinsed
- 2 tbsp. freshly chopped herbs (we like a combination of dill and parsley)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and black pepper
1. Put the salmon, beans, herbs, lemon juice and a good pinch of salt and pepper into a blender. Pulse until just combined, then spoon into ramekins and chill until you're ready to serve.
