Honey Lemon Chicken recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 35 minutes

Chicken breasts are glazed with runny honey, lemon juice and a dash of soy sauce in this easy peasy recipe. Serve with rice or your favourite roast potatoes.


  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp. runny honey
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Pinch of black pepper


  1. Combine runny honey, soy, lemon juice and black pepper in a bowl. Put the chicken breasts skin side up in a baking tin and coat thoroughly with the honey mix.

  2. Roast for 30-35 minutes at 170C. Cook until the chicken is tender and no longer pink in the middle, basting two or three times during cooking.

For extra flavour, add a pinch of chilli, or why not add some Chinese 5 spice? Recipe serves 2.
