Honey and mustard is a classic flavour combination, and using the two ingredients to roast a turkey makes for an unusual and alternative turkey dinner. Honey and mustard combine with butter to create a sweet, buttery turkey dish perfect for the whole family.
- 1 3kg turkey crown
- 5 tbsp. runny honey
- 3 tbsp. English mustard
- 50g melted butter
- Salt and pepper
Mix together the honey, mustard, butter and salt and pepper.
Place the turkey into a roasting dish and spoon over the mixture.
Roast in a 170C oven for 1 and 3/4 hours to 2 1/2 hours, or until the juices run clear. Baste frequently.
