This simple method for preparing lobster tails is perfect for any family get together. Lobster tails are brushed with a delicious marinade, then BBQed until tender and sweet on the inside and golden on the outside.
- 2 x 280g lobster tails, prepared and ready to eat
- 110ml extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tsp. each salt and sweet paprika
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preheat the BBQ to a medium heat. Alternatively, heat a griddle pan to a medium heat
Whisk together the oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, paprika and white pepper until as smooth as possible. Using a knife, split the lobster tail into down the centre, running your knife lengthways. The idea is to "butterfly" the lobster tail.
Liberally brush the lobster with the marinade. Oil the cooking grate of the BBQ or the griddle pan and cook the lobsters, flesh side down, for around 5-6 minutes. Flip over and cook for another 5-6 minutes or until firm, opaque and golden.
