Lobster Pots recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 25 minutes

This simple yet delicious recipe for baked lobster pots makes for a yummy dinner party starter. Cooked lobster is seasoned, drenched in melted butter, topped with a savoury breadcrumb topping and then baked until crisp. Yum!


  • 600g cooked lobster meat, shredded
  • 50g dried breadcrumbs
  • 50g parmesan cheese
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 2 spring onions
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Thinly slice the spring onions. Mix the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, 50g melted butter, spring onions and lemon juice together in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper

  2. Divide the lobster meat between 6 ramekins. Drizzle the remaining butter over the lobster and then sprinkle with the breadcrumbs. Place onto a baking tray and into a 180C oven. Cook for around 20-25 minutes or until the breadcrumb topping is brown and the lobster is piping hot.

If you like, for a little freshness, try adding some fresh parsley or chives to the breadcrumb topping. You could also add some lemon zest. Recipe serves 6.
