Banana gives these lovely flapjacks a lovely sweet edge. For extra flavour, drizzle them with melted dark and white chocolate.
- 200g butter
- 160g brown sugar
- 4 tbsp. golden syrup
- 450g rolled oats
- 2 mashed bananas
Melt butter, sugar and golden syrup together over a low heat until the sugar dissolves into the butter. Mash in the banana, stir in the oats, then spread into a shallow greased baking tin.
Bake at 180C for 20 minutes or until lightly golden on top. Take the flapjack out of the oven and cut into squares.
