Save on the washing-up with this quick and simple classic gammon, egg and chips dish. Make it for one or make it for the whole family. The yummy thing about this dish is that any of the gammon juices run into the egg and the chips, giving lots of extra flavour.
- 1 large baking potato
- 1 egg
- 1 gammon steak
- Cooking spray or olive oil
Preheat the oven to 200C.
Chop the potato into wedges.
Place the wedges onto the baking tray, spritz with cooking spray and bake for 25 minutes.
Turn the wedges over and place the gammon in the middle of the baking tray. Cook for 7-8 minutes.
Turn the gammon over, crack the egg onto the baking tray and cook for another 7-8 minutes or until the egg is cooked and set.
