In this recipe, mangetout is cooked and tossed with teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds for an easy Oriental style side dish that works brilliantly with chicken and rice dishes.
- 225g mangetout
- 100g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp. teriyaki sauce
Dry fry sesame seeds for one to two minutes or until golden brown and lightly toasted.
Heat the sesame oil and oil until hot, then add the mangetout and mushrooms and stir fry until the mushrooms are browned and the mangetout tender.
Add the teriyaki sauce and toss to combine, then add the toasted sesame seeds.
