Peanut Butter Banana Cookies recipe

Preparation Time: 20 minutes | Cooking Time: 12 minutes

Peanut butter and banana combine in these utterly moreish cookies, perfect for parties or if you want to make a pud with very few ingredients.


  • 125g mashed banana
  • 130g smooth peanut butter
  • 70g dark brown sugar
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 165g plain flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 50g dark chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 190C and line baking trays with parchment. Beat the peanut butter and banana together until smooth, then beat in the brown sugar and caster sugar, then stir in the vanilla. Stir in the plain flour and baking powder, then fold in the chocolate chips.

  2. Roll dough into walnut sized balls and put on the baking trays, 5cm apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, then put onto wire racks to cool.

For a crunchier cookie, use crunchy peanut butter or add some chopped peanuts. Recipe makes 30 cookies.
