Pear and Cinnamon Smoothie recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Deliciously smooth and creamy, this super easy and super healthy smoothie is packed with nutritious fruit, spices and low fat yoghurt. Perfect for breakfast - just serve with a little porridge.


  • 2 pears
  • 1 banana
  • 250ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 125ml low-fat vanilla yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg


  1. Peel, core and dice the pears. Peel and dice the banana.

  2. Place pears, banana, milk, yoghurt, cinnamon and nutmeg into a blender and whiz until smooth and creamy. Pour into two glasses to serve.

If you like, add an apple or some berries for extra sweetness. Recipe serves 2.
