Pork Chops with Gorgonzola and Apple Sauce recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 20 minutes

This incredibly yummy recipe is made with just a few key ingredients - pork chops, butter, gorgonzola and apples. The gorgonzola melts down to form a wonderfully creamy and rich sauce. Be warned, this isn't a recipe for slimmers!


  • 4 boneless pork loin chops
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 2 eating apples
  • 100g gorgonzola cheese
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Oil to fry


  1. Peel core and finely dice the apples into little cubes. Fry the chops on either side for 7-9 minutes or until browned and completely cooked through to your liking.

  2. Melt butter. Add the apples and fry until tender. Turn the heat off and crumble in the gorgonzola cheese. Stir gently and slowly until the cheese melts into a creamy sauce. Season with black pepper.

  3. Serve the creamy sauce over the chops to serve.

For a slightly different take on the sauce, try a mixture of Stilton cheese and pear instead of apple - mmm! Recipe serves 4.
