Pork is beaten until thin and then coated in a mixture of breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic, salt and pepper, before being fried until crisp. Works well with chicken, too.
- 4 boneless pork chops, fat removed or trimmed
- 1 egg
- Approx. 200g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp. each salt, pepper, garlic granules and sweet paprika
Put the chops in between layers of cling and beat using a meat tenderiser until thin.
Whisk the egg and put into a bowl. Mix the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic and paprika in another bowl.
Dip the chops first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs to thoroughly coat.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan and add the chops. Fry for 7-9 minutes on either side over a medium-high heat until golden and crisp on the inside and cooked through on the inside.
