Quick 4-Ingredient Christmas Pudding recipe

This quick and easy Christmas pudding is made with just four ingredients, making it ideal for pudding novices. It's heavier than other Christmas puddings, so you'll only need a small portion!


  • 1kg mixed dried fruit
  • 250g self-raising flour
  • 500ml orange juice
  • 1 tsp. mixed spice


  1. Place the fruit and orange juice into a bowl. Stir, cover and leave to sit overnight.

  2. Grease a large pudding mould and preheat the oven to 150C.

  3. Sift the flour and mixed spice into the fruit mix. Stir to combine and pour into the prepared mould. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until a skewer inserted into the centre of the cake comes out clean. Cover with foil if the pud browns too quickly.

Serve with a light custard or double cream. Recipe serves 12.
