Sprouts are lightly coated in oil and seasoned with salt and pepper before being roasted in the oven in this really simple yet completely delicious recipe. The sprouts turn nutty and slightly charred in flavour.
- 500g Brussels sprouts
- 3 tbsp. oil
- Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 200C. Trim and quarter the sprouts.
Toss the sprouts in oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Scatter in a baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, shaking every five minutes to stop the sprouts from burning.
