These easy peasy side dish is flavoured with sesame oil, sesame seeds, soy sauce and green pepper. Serve with stir fried chicken or alongside any Asian dish.
- 175g broccoli
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. runny honey
Slice the broccoli into florets. Halve the pepper, remove the seeds and pith, then slice into thin strips.
Heat the oil over a medium high heat in a wok or large frying pan. Add the broccoli and sesame seeds and stir fry, stirring often, for 2-3 minutes or until tender. Add the green pepper and fry for a further 2 minutes.
Stir in the soy sauce and runny honey and turn the heat up high. Bubble the liquid until it turns sticky, then serve immediately.
