Smoky Tomato Pepper Salsa recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

This delicious and healthy salsa is perfect with everything from halloumi to griddled meats. Either make it raw, or use roasted pepper from a jar and slow roast the tomatoes before whizzing into the salsa.


  • 1 red onion
  • 20g coriander
  • 125g cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 red pepper, seeds removed
  • 3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mild sweet paprika
  • Salt and pepper


1. Roughly chop all ingredients, pop everything into a blender, then pulse until roughly chopped together. To serve, sprinkle with a little extra chopped coriander.

You could spoon this over with tortilla chips, sprinkle with cheese and then bake for a Brazilian twist on nachos. Recipe serves 4.
