Soy Ginger Sauce recipe

This simple Chinese-inspired sauce is great as either a dipping sauce for spring rolls, or for serving with stir-fried chicken and vegetables. Use more or less sugar depending on your personal taste.


  • 60 ml soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons ginger root, grated
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar


  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix thorougly.

  2. If used for dipping, serve in a ramekin or small bowl at room temperature.
