Spelt gives the bread a chewier, denser texture and a delicious, slightly sweet flavour that makes it perfect for serving with sweet or savoury toppings.
- 225ml water
- 400g spelt flour
- 3 tbsp. dried milk powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. each runny honey, salt, vegetable oil
- 1 dstsp. dried active baking yeast
1. Place water, flour, milk powder, honey, salt, veg oil and baking yeast into the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Normal or Basic cycle and press Start.
