This healthy and flavourful dish combines the flavours of fresh king prawns with garlic, soy sauce and brandy. It's super simple but delivers big on flavour - perfect as a dinner party starter.
- 20 king prawns, with shell, as fresh as possible
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp. brandy
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
Mince the garlic cloves. Combine in a bowl with the soy sauce and brandy. Add the prawns, toss to coat, cover and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
Place prawns into a steamer basket suspended over a pan of simmering water. Drizzle over any remaining marinade. Cover the steamer.
Steam the prawns for 10 minutes or until opaque. Serve immediately.
