Homemade Tortilla Chips recipe

This simple homemade tortilla recipe is a fantastic way to enjoy a Mexican-inspired snack - simply pop these tortilla chips in the oven, serve with some salsa or guacamole and put your feet up! This recipe serves eight.

  • 8 corn tortilla wraps
  • Olive oil
  • 2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dried mixed herbs

  1. Cut the tortilla wraps into even triangles, around 2 inches long.

  2. Preheat the oven to 200C.

  3. Brush the chips with the olive oil, mix together the paprika, salt and herbs and sprinkle the mixture evenly over the chips.

  4. Bake for five minutes in the oven then leave to cool on a cooling rack. They'll crisp up once they're cool.

You can adjust the seasoning to what you have in the cupboard - for spicy tortilla chips, sprinkle a little chilli powder over, and for mild tortilla chips stick to a mixture of garlic salt and herbs.
