Sashimi is literally raw fish - but in this recipe, the raw tuna is combined with sesame seeds, sesame oil, coriander and lime juice, and the lime juice "cooks" the fish slightly.
- 1/2 tuna steak
- 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 handful finely chopped coriander
- Juice of 1 lime
Wrap the tuna steak in cling and chill in the fridge for half an hour.
Crush the sesame seeds and combine with the oil and soy sauce. Mix in half the coriander.
Take the tuna out of the fridge and thinly slice. Combine in a bowl with the soy and sesame mixture. Lay on a plate. Sprinkle with the lime juice and remaining coriander leaves.
