White Wine and Rosemary Pork Chops recipe

Preparation Time: 10 minutes | Cooking Time: 25 minutes

In this very simple recipe, pork chops are simmered in white wine, rosemary and a little bit of salt and pepper - and that's it. Serve with your favourite potato recipe or some colcannon for a really lovely midweek meal.

  • 4 pork chops
  • 60g butter
  • 125ml white wine
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

  1. Melt the butter in a large frying pan and add the pork chops. Turn once to brown evenly, frying for about 5 mintutes on either side.

  2. Pour in the wine and stir in the garlic, salt, rosemary and black pepper. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the chops are tender.

If you want a richer sauce, you might want to try red wine instead of white wine. Recipe serves 4.
